Morley and District Family History Group formed in 1986
The Group takes a special interest in the region centred on Morley, including the areas of Beeston, Bruntcliffe, Churwell, Drighlington, East and West Ardsley, Gildersome, Holbeck, Tingley, Woodkirk, and including parts of south Leeds, but incorporating the areas of the former Borough
Members' meetings, unless otherwise announced, are held on the 1st Wednesday
The Group produces its own Journal, Cameo, free to members, which is issued four times a year. Also, a dedicated local history library is maintained.
