St Mary’s Church was built in 1885 as Doncaster population grew and entered the manufacturing age. Businesses built works and factories add to that the railway works and coal mines imagine how the work of the local Clergy grew. This CD reflects the work and lives of the local population. There are no burials recorded for this church because of the lack of space and of the families recorded here.

With the arrival of the railway in the middle of the 19th century Doncaster was transformed quite dramatically. St James Church, on St Sepulchre Gate West, was built in 1858 to minister to the spiritual needs of a growing population. This CD gives lots of information about Doncaster the effect of the railway on the town and the development of the Railway workshops. A history of the Wesleyan Churches and Methodist movement in Doncaster and Photographs of some of the Methodist Churches within Doncaster are included on this CD.

REVISED. This CD records the inscriptions taken from headstones in Edlington Cemetery. Each monumental inscription includes a reference to the section on which each grave can be found. A map showing the position of the sections is also included. It also includes a full set of cremation memorials with images up to 2008 and much more.
