The images are in black and white PDF format, compatible with nearly all computers, PC/Mac/Linux/etc. - Adobe Reader 5 (not the latest version, but stable and compatible with most PC operating systems from Windows 95 onwards) is supplied on the CD for viewing on a PC in case you haven't already got it, but most computers will read the files using their default PDF viewer anyway.
