This volume is a descriptive account of how the sixtieth year of the glorious reign of HER MOST GRACIOUS MAJESTY QUEEN VICTORIA, EMPRESS OF INDIA was celebrated in the County of Chester: together with the names of all the Deputy Lieutenants, Magistrates, County, Borough, Urban, Rural and Parish Councillors and their Officials in Office in this County on DIAMOND JUBILEE DAY, TUESDAY JUNE 22nd, 1897.

A List of Coins struck at the Chester Mint. 4. A List of all Newspapers published within the County. 5. An account, written in 1593, of all Salt Works at the Northwych from the beginning.
