Lincolnshire Protestation Returns 1641/2

Description

At this time, every man over the age of 18 was required to take an oath "protesting" his allegiance to the Protestant faith. The returns have been completely transcribed, with the exception of the oath itself which is given in full only once. County coverage is good, with Kesteven being the least represented area. A few returns include women, and some give occupations or relationships. In PDF format
