The information contained in the production is the result of a number of years work by members of both the Parish of Llansamlet and a few members of the Glamorgan Family History Society [GFHS]. Due to the timescales and the number of volunteers involved it is impossible to thank everyone involved so thanks are going to the two organisations involved.
This publication contains a record of the inscriptions on the stones in the graveyard at the time of transcription. There are no plans to the location of burials only to the surviving gravestones that were recorded by volunteers. All transcriptions should be used as a finding aid and the original documents should be consulted when practical

The information on this disk also contains transcriptions of the Llansamlet Burial Registers (to 1935) from the GFHS records. These have been previously published in both the Parish Register file of Llansamlet St Samlet and the CD Llansamlet & Kilvey. Not all burials have been marked with gravestones in the past, and details in the burial registers may differ from those transcribed from surviving gravestones, so you are recommended to cross reference your research of Memorial Inscriptions and Burial records. The original burial registers are held at West Glamorgan Archives, Swansea. The disk also contains photographs of the graves [4,000+] to aid your research.
