Published October 2017

Little Lane has had many names since it was built 120 years ago: Girlington Congregational School-Chapel → Girlington United Reformed Church → Heaton URC → Heaton St Andrew’s URC → Little Lane Ecumenical Partnership. This fully searchable CD consists of a brief resume of the way in which some Independent churches evolved from each other, the people who worked and worshipped there and the memorials to them. Church mergers followed and all eventually ended up at Little Lane.
The churches concerned are Greenfield Congregational Church, Salem Independent/Congregational/URC, (inc Valley School, Queens Road Sunday School), Listerhills Congregational Church, Brownroyd URC, St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Girlington Methodist & Baptist Churches, Hallfield & Allerton Baptist Churches.

In addition, Salem Independent Chapel in Manor Row had a graveyard.
