The Jewish Genealogy Society of Great Britain - JGSGB - was founded in 1992 for beginners and experienced researchers:

- To promote the preservation of Jewish genealogical records and resources
- To share information amongst members
The Society is open to all interested in Jewish genealogy and is constituted on a secular basis.
