The Federation of Family History Societies (FFHS) was founded in 1974 with the aim of promoting, encouraging and fostering the study of family history, genealogy and heraldry, to co-ordinate and assist the work of Member Societies and Bodies with similar objectives, and to promote the preservation, security and accessibility of archive material.

FFHS Services is the subsidiary trading company of the FFHS (Company No. 2993798 England).
